Hi, new here, glad i finally found a forum for my dart...

well here it is...

i've got a 1974 Dart Swinger; i want to put my aftermarket cd player in it but i have no idea where to put it??

My car is a factory air car complete with all the duct's under the dash, i was thinking i should pull the duct's out and make a bracket to house the head unit but i can't bring myself to tear out O.E.!!!

i dont really want to cut my dash unless i have to (also, i dont there's enough room on the dash itself to cut).

any ideas??

there is a big black plastic box (air ducts) underneath my dash...

If it's an automatic you can build a box over your tranny tunnel and put some carpet over it. Could even put some 6x9's in it. I have done it to many cars and it looks nice! And you wont even need to risk destroying your dash.

Theres only about 8" or so of free space, and i dont wanna reach WAY over to my passanger side to change a cd....

i've seen that box idea MANY times, i completely forgot about it, thanks for reminding me, i think thats the way to go!!!!!!
