Trying to identify engine: 64 Valiant

Hi

I just got this car a week ago and I am completely new to Valiants, Plymouth, Mopar....anything non VW actually.

I'm trying to find out what motor is in the car. I looked where a few other places said my ID should be, but nothing. I did find a few other numbers stamped in various places though and I was hoping someone may be able to help me identify or point me to a reliable source where I can identify.

here's what I know.

64 Valiant, 2 door, slant 6.

Facing the engine.

Lower right side on the block the number 2463230-9 is stamped.

On the plate on the cowling(?) By where the battery sits it says:

Number - 0514 3493
Bdy - 111
TRM - L1R (that ones hard to read)
Pnt - WWP (also hard to read)

under the valve cover I found the number - 2206086-1 with a large AA00 stamped.

The carb is a single barrel Carter.

Is there somewhere else I should look?

Thanks for your help.

Maybe not the answer but some good "old" information.

This looks like the low deck 170 answer.

Casting# CID Year
2463230 170 1965

Can't find anything on the head #2206086
but the 2206 is definitely a 62-65 casting number, the closest casting I can find is Casting 2206035 Engine CID 170/225 Year 1962-65 Intake 1.62 Exhaust 1.36

Depending on the build date, it might be a 65 casting, or not original to the car.
Hope this helps some.
