This is a 8 3/4 axle that i have had for a long time, bought it to use under a V8 S10 project i had at the time, but ended up leaving the truck stock due to moving off to college and needed reliable transport, so i sold off the V8 swap stuff, but have been hanging on to the axle ever since just because i already had it, plus i like to be different than everybody just throwing a ford 9" under everything.

Anyways, i was told it was from a 71 Cuda, housing measures 56.5 flange to flange which seems to correspond to 70-74 E-Body. It never had the brake on it, so i got some moser 7900FM housing ends This axle was originally a 3:23 sure grip, i tore down the center section and sold those gears and diff because i wanted to use a detroit locker and 4:10 gears, but never got around to actually rebuilding it and buying the parts. I also have a competition engineering axle housing brace for it, brand new that i was waiting to install after i narrowed the housing. The stock spring perches have been cut off because they were to wide for my S10, i still have one of them left, cant seem to find the other one, ill include it if you want it.

Housing that is uncut except for the spring perches removed, 489 center housing, and CE Housing brace ill sell for 300 plus any shipping cost.
