Slant 6 225(whole or parts) and 904 trans
 

i have a slant 6 from a 76 aspen with 63000 original miles. the engine has an internal issue and will not turn over. i did pull the valve cover and seen 3- 4 bent push rods. the engine is complete and all original from air cleaner to oil pan and all pulleys,alt,belt,power steering pump.etc

the trans is a 904 and is in excellent condition with no issues.converter included. also 63000 miles.

will sell together or separate or part engine out. Best offer on everything.

I'm sure someone could use it. I have to think it has 163K because of the mileage limit on the speedo. and probably lost the timing chain

if it lost the timing chain it most likely broke the distributor gear. ie plastic gear. . just a thought.

Breaking the timing chain could cause the valves to hit the pistons, bend push rods, break valves and the distributor may not turn. IT will not cause the dist gear to break
