Jeep JK media system
 

My media system in my jeep is not subscription ready with Uconnect. I bought it from another party and thought it was. I was told by my dealer that it was ordered without that upgrade. They also told me it could not be upgraded with a newer unit. I can’t use the Nav unless I type it in, I can’t send a voice text unless I go though Siri on my phone. I would like to be able to subscribe to the Uconnect services. So I wonder, if I find another 2018 Jeep wrangler JK that has the upgraded media system in it, that is subscription ready, and has been wrecked or is at a junk yard for parts, could I take that that unit and have it put in mine to replace it? Anyone know the answer to this?

I would call Chrysler Tech support first... Something should be able to be corrected....
