rusty intake manifold

i’ve left my intake manifold outside not knowing it was going to rain and it rusted and i need to put it back on my motor, is there anything i can do to get rid of the rust

I'd sand blast it.

Mike -
Wire wheel and elbow grease.
Chemical rust reducer.
Sand blast.
Replace with aluminum.
Finish with paint.

Local machine shop, Hot Tank with a Rust Inhibitor will fix it.
Or the blaster / wire brush cleaning will work.
