'77 d300 flatbed

my brother wants me to haul this truck outta his back yard. there's no title or previous owner, i guess it came with the land when he bought it. its a standard cab 2wd with a flatbed, dually rear axle, a 225 2bbl, and i'm not sure what tranny (i haven't looked). pretty dirty but straight and no rust. i'm thinking if i go get it i'll just part it out but i want to know if these parts are worth the trouble. the 225 runs alright, tranny shifts well and we can almost drive it, but its u-joints are all but shot. also, if anybody knows what rearend this thing would have i'd appreciate the info.:D

He should be able to file for a title if it has been on his land for a while. Being more of a truck person I would say you bet it is worth it but I really like Dodge pickups.

update: its a '73, the 225 has a holley 1bbl, and the trans is a 3 speed NP A230 or a 4 speed NP 435/445 (i don't know how he figured the thing shifts well if he can't tell how many gears it has), axle is a dana 70, has power brakes, three row radiator, front discs. my brother started some paperwork to donate the truck to a local charity, but he's offering it to me first just cuz its a mopar and he knows i'll most likely take any mopar. :)
i'm mostly interested in knowing how much the tranny and axle are worth, and anything else is also appreciated.
