87 W250 Driveshaft specs
So my rear driveshaft snapped yesterday and I was trying to find replacements on summit and I was wondering if this would be a good choice

Cheaper at a wrecking yard

I know it's cheaper, but I haven't found any at a boneyard

Do you have a driveline repair shop near you? Look for one that works on Large truck heavy duty repair. Sometime they know where to get driveshafts made...
But if not. What you do... With the vehicle sitting on the ground. Insert the yoke in the trans and pull it out 1/8 to 1/4 of an inch, measure from the center of that eye to the center of the differital eye, Give that measurement to whom ever is going to make your driveshaft and you should be good to go. Please note: you may need to give them both front and rear flange dimensions as well to get the correct U-Joints. >>>>> https://www.iedls.com/ >>>>> https://www.iedls.com/Request_for_One_Piece_Driveshaft Hope this helps.... Good Luck... Cheers |
Thank you for the help
