9.25 posi?

I have a 79 D 150, long bed, built 360, fuel cell, 727 and a 9.25 rear end. Problem is it is a dog leg, what is my best solution for a posi traction? I drive 75% street, 25% dirt roads and will definatley do the occasional burnout. I want some smoke! With the older 9.25, I haven't pulled the diff cover as it works just fine, but I don't know my spline count and or all the posi units I see have a brake ring or something, which this old truck won't need. Trying to find what to order is my issue.

Thanks

Been using a 9.25 /w sure grip since 1980, and just dropped in a set of 3.9 gears.
Yeah, it'll smoke 'em.

Yes, but are there other viable options besides a $712 dollar posi? Are any other units such as a spicer worth it? There are a few others like Thorson, very few reviews from Mopar folks.
