door hinges like duct tape...
The lower door hinges on my 1979 Dodge W100 are terrible, wore slap out. And my luck for finding new ones for less than $80 a piece is bout the same luck I've had with the lottery, hence why I'm not willing to spend $80 on a door hinge...The lower hinge on the passengers side can just get a rebuild kit but I can't rebuild the lower driver's side cause it ain't even got all the parts! Any suggestions? Thanks.

junk yard
or mopar only out in michigan |
try taking them off another year ram ? might be cheaper...

Only way around it (cheaply that is) is to buy a hinge off of a donar truck.

Pull the hinges, remove the pin, weld the hole up. Re-drill the hole the size needed and replace the pin with one out of any of the door hinge rebuild kits?

your not looking for the hinge, your looking for the hinge pins and bushings unless i misunderstood the problem, look on ebay and you will need two people to change them. |
