Need some help on finding a fuel module assembly for 1989 W250
New here. Anyways, this vehicle has sat some time, getting ready to sell it. Changed all fluids, etc. No fuel to TB. Pulled the tank and the entire assembly looks like a big piece of rust. Will be flushing the tank out (I added gas to tank since it was empty, not thinking the assembly crapped out). Can someone help me to locate the following parts (really trying to make this cheap as I will be selling it) - used would be fine as well as long as they work. Been checking for a few days locally and on the net and no luck. Thanks.
I need one of the little green plug in thingies that go on the top of the module - broke one off while pulling the tank. I need the entire module, including pump and sending unit. I need the filler tube portion that goes from the tank to the fuel rubber coupler. I also need the rubber fuel coupler that goes from the main filler tube to the tube coming out of the tank. Oh, also need to get a fuel filter (would this be a local part)? ANY assistance would be appreciated. Thanks!!! |
New pump assembly and filter is $100 at AutoZone. Better than getting a used pump that is on its last legs..

Thanks! Do you have a link or a part number for that? I'm not looking for just the pump, which I have seen elsewhere - basically the entire assembly that slips into the tank - including sending unit, pump, etc. Thanks again!!! |
Just go to www.autozone. com or your favorite store and look it up. They have pictures on the site

Do you know if the sending unit will work with the 1989 w250? That is my only concern. I will probably have to R/R the module, clean it up and replace the parts. Thanks! Oh, does anyone know if advanced or autozone sells the rubber coupler used between the filler neck and filler tube? Thanks! |
Well I took a look at the unit earlier and its 100% toast - not (and can't) be fixed rebuild-able. I'm in a bad spot... damn it!!!
I saw this at rock auto for a 1991 Dodge W250 - will this work? Can someone please offer some feedback? Thanks!!! The only thing that would not work is the plug configuration. I wonder where I could get a new plug to splice in??? (Assuming it works). Thanks Spectra Premium part number SP6076 http://info.rockauto.com/getimage/ge.../m_sp6076m.jpg |

Thanks, but I actually need the entire module (sender, housing, pump, etc). I looked at it last night and its completely rotted out. |
