Wiring help on my carbed magnum.

Hi folks,
I got a 96 360 magnum that I have an HEI and a carb on. I’m putting it into my 85 150 custom. I know I have to add a voltage regulator to the circuit those parts are coming in next week. Motor isn’t in the truck yet. I have 2 of the same trucks my donor is a factory 87 318 d100 and the truck I’m putting it in is a factory /6 with a 79 318 in it, so tearing one down for what I need isn’t an issue. What I want to do is build a harness that is with the motor before I put it in. Where should I put fuses in so I don’t burn my truck to the ground? I know I need one for the charging circuit between the alternator and the gauge. I have an idea but I don’t really know. Any help would be greatly appreciated thanks in advance.
