Aw damn, you have got be kidding me!? What the hell was he specific aiming for your car. That was a NICE Plymouth and you took good care of it...man that really blows. So it was not salvageable at all?? What happen to the kid?...I guess the big ol Plymouth protected you pretty good if your still around to talk about it,lol...done need no airbags.
Tell me more about the 67 VIP (Very Important Plymouth). How you find it?? What's under the hood? Hit me back, I'm dying to find out everything, lol!
No, Im still fiddling with it. Probably gonna have to have a look at the floats, only thing I haven't done yet. It is weird, the damn thing howls as WOT. I can nail it at 85-90mph and it will pull strong way beyond 100mph but I can't get it to idle nicely after sitting for a period of time. FRUSTRATING!
Really?? You think I should throw more timing into it? I did think about that briefly....maybe I'll try that....do you remember if it was the mechanical advance or vacuum advance that you changed? I will probably start with the vacuum first.
got it. I'm trying to fine tune my AVS; it runs great at WOT but it will not idle worth a shit plus I'm smelling gas after I turn the car off. E-brock is saying I'l have to take off the top of it to check the floats. PITA
I was able to score some 383/440 linkage diagrams for the guys over on the "c bodies" only website..told me how to adjust the kick down function correctly..or at least how I like it...if ya need something like that after you set urs up give a holler...its never a 100% direct fit going from stock carb to aftermarket.
