    yea the blaster
my manual in the back showed three differences, to hook em up each of em showed Mallory coils w part numbers also i got a "circuit guard" protects from that power surge but not from the wrong coil, the coil i'm using on her now is great all Mallory i don't need a ballast resistor it gives Awsume spark, i'm and gaping my plugs @.0050

i used the wrong coil and it messed up the magnetic pickup, so don't fall for that uses most type's its very specific in it's ohm and voltage and the winding inside the said ,"most high performance coil's."

charlie no problem your carb-intake is fine for the heat get a insulated spacer,
on the Mallory one thing most important, get the correct coil! you can contact Mallory and let them know what type of dizzy you ordered and the coil you have right now, they will let you know if it will work together, trust me on this i know! if you use the wrong coil it will burn out the dizzy im using there coil part number, Mallory Ignition 29450 - Mallory Promaster Classic Series Coils, in the instillation instructions that come with the dizz this is one of the coils recommended don't use a msd blaster coil it will burn up the dizzy the directions are very specific on coils used and how to hook them up to your system save your self a hassle i've been there!

Charlie i live over in debary near I-4 and st rd 1792
    lake county is close
i had issues like this awhile back with my vehicle it seemed to be voltage related.
check you amp gauge there is a issue that plagues these cars, as i researched my issue i came across a article at http://www.mymopar.com, basicly these gauges just burn up and that means you ride is toast. check that gauge see if the wires are melted or any other type of damage
