    Sorry, been busy with work.
I do have all the casting numbers and all are correct 1973 except the Crank. At this point I am not sure it matters because the engine is at the machine shop.
Gonna clean magnaflux and check block, crank and heads.
Then we will start talking build and price. I'll for sure have them do the short block, and maybe even long block depending on what they come up with.
They are a very reputable builder of race motors in this area so with season comming up soon, they are taking longer than usual to get to it. I should hear back from them by Tuesday next week.

    My email is allenknotts@hotmail.com

The odometer had 73000 miles on it and I am assumimng that is probably right. The car sat in a junkyard for awhile and a freind of mine drug it home about 15 years ago and it sat in his garage since then. I got it from him 18 months ago and started tearing it apart. I have a bunch of pick I will email you when I get your address.
The engine is completely torn down and looks pretty good.
I has a set of 1 3/4" headers I am hoping to reuse
An edlebrock torker 11 aluminum intake and edlebrock 600cfm carb that probably needs to go.
I did look at all the casting numbers and the crank numbers show it came out of model a couple of years newer? not sure that will matter.

From what I have been reding the "302" casting heads with the heart shape should be a good match to give some more power, but I am open to any suggestions. I need all the help I can get.
