I'm having problems with my car now, all tuned up engine runs fine but when I come off the freeway or drive for a long time it dies, and I'm force to drive it like a manual and press the gas and brake so it won't die, when it does die, the starter sounds differnt, I have a 225 inline 6 I cannot figure it out please help, it's a 1973 duster btw

It's currently sitting dormant in the garage while we tackle some house projects. We are looking to possibly sell and relocate in the near future if everything pans out for me. I think the car would appreciate a "warmer dryer climate" (name the movie).

I am working on getting some more power to really pull the 38's I just bought for my old 86. I was actually wondering and I will probably post it in the proper forum but... what are your thoughts on fuel system upgrades? Am I wasting my time and money just getting intake and carb? Should I hold off, save, and go for the whole nine... cam, intake, carb, and non smog heads?
