I hope all is well thee too . life is stupid busy here right now , dealing with a number of issues at once so I have not been around much .
I do know what you mean , you can hear the difference when a motor runs well .
Glad to help with info , let me know if you do the cam swap . I bet you will feel the difference & it will just run better again !!

    Chryco hope all's well..
since i read your post on cam selection and my further tunning of the motor i have the sense that the valve is closing before the stroke is done...Mon i made a large increase in jet size and last night was the coldest...w/humid so you can imagine how well she was running, yet and this sense increases with every performance gain i hear and feel it in the harmonics of the motor, "her voice" i think you know what i mean... i may do a cam swap just to see what happens.
    Thanks again for your info.

If you decide to do the swap I would dyno it so you get exact #s not just seat of the pants feel . I don't have my Comp catalog handy but I bet if you look up the 268 H in the small block chev section you will have the exact same cam there . As I explained the Mopar small block is very different from a chev so why would you use the same cam in a Mopar . If you are happy with the working range of the 268* cam you have the Lunati will be similar powerband but I will bet it makes more power , just abetter design . If you want to go to a solid cam you can get into roller territory .

thank you thank you that in-foe was good! i learned much i should do a cam swap to fell the diffidence if i would have known this before i would have gone with the lunati voo doo cam, and the only reason i didn't was my past use of comp cams specifically 268 h apparently for 340ci replacement cam used it for years in my combo it ran great! no premature failures, i should have listened to my brother, well now i may swap it for the 268/276 this was the one my brother was pushing me to get instead of the comp an opinion here?
