1963 Plymouth rear deck filler panel

Hello all members. I just joined today and looking for help. I am the second owner of a 1963 Plymouth Fury 2D HT with the 318 Poly and the 727 Tranny. After owning the car for the last 43 years and 289,000 miles later I am in the process of a full restoration. Yes, that is 43 years... This is my first car and I purchased it just after I turned 16 way back in 1973.

I need help and hoping someone here will have a solution. I need a new rear deck filler panel that fits between the rear windshield and the trunk lid. Mine is full of rust holes. Does anyone know where I can find one?

Many thanks!

Welcome Frank, WOW 43 YEARS!
I don't see a location but your just going to have to search the old yards and see what you can come up with used. Or you can start fabricating the parts needed, both will take time and patients.
That old Mopar has got to be part of your soul at this point, have fun.

Thanks Iowan. I live in the Seattle Wa. area. We use to have a great Mopar junk yard here but the state shut it down to put in a sewer plant. Now it is hard to find any classic part cars here.

Yep, the car went through several girl friends before I met my wife. Only one wife, but I did tell her she would go before my car. The car is part of my life support system at this point. Right along with my other five Mopars.

I'll put the word out, maybe something will turn up, never no.
I'd sharpen up on my fab skills if I were you.

So wife is gone?

I still have the wife, and the car! I have to replace the right quarter panel so I will have some metal to practice making a new rear window channel with.
