1969 Road Runner project..barn find!

Well I ran across a car that I saw back in 1983 that was sitting in a old barn/shop. The car was raced in the 1970's and has 56,000 orginal miles on it. I Picked it up today and I am takling it to the body shop to get it painted Hemi orange and then it is time for a Hemi motor for it. It has a dana 60 in it now with 31x10.5w's on the back.

I will keep you all updated on it and By the way I am glad to have found this site.

Looking for my old mopars.

I am looking to find the owners of my old Race cars. Both of them have been sold and taken west. The Daytona was sold to a man in California and the 64 was sold to a man in Kanas City, If anyone knows of these cars please let me know.

Ok... I can't take it any longer...and I like keeping my finger on the market. Any chance you will tell us what you paid for it? Looks like a nice solid car. I understand if you're uncomfortable with this question.

69 Superbee - Hemi Orange, 383 4sp white stripe white interior
70 Superbee - Plumb Crazy, 383 3sp manual stripe delete, white interior

i don't feel so bad now. paid 1600.00 for a 64 4-dr belvedere. and drove it home... the hard lesson there was finding reasonably priced parts. or more correctly..."NOT" finding parts. it's been a few decades since my last project. and i gotta say that aftermarket has gone in the toilet since.. good thing iv'e got skills. but i can't rebuild what's not there. still need a armrest for the drivers door.. and i'm not payin 50.00 for one that won't match the other 3... so have ya decided on a engine yet?

Great find.

I'm a new member and I wish to congratulate you on your purchase. Great find. I myself am in the payment processing of buying my very first mopar. 1969 Roadrunner for $3,200.00. I'm getting the car and 2 383's, one is a H.P and the other is a stock 383 4bbl. It also comes with a A/T but currently has a 8 1/4 rearend but the original from the factory was a 8 3/4. Can't wait to see it and I'm in the process of hurrying up and wait until the payment goes through and then transport from S.C. to Washington. I won't be able to work on this car until my return from deployment. At which time I plan on doing a complete disassembly and full restoration and original factory color on the tags. Any advice and compliments would be greatly welcomed.
