Anyone know this car?

Hi guys. My name is Nik Bruce, I'm a motoring writer working out of Brisbane, Australia.

I'm wondering if anyone can help. This '66 Satellite washed up down under a few months back and I'm trying to get some info on it for a feature I'm writing for a local magazine.

Sadly, the new owner doesn't know much about it, aside from the fact that it was supposedly raced out of Valley Plymouth in Reseda Ca. by a bloke called Cecil Parkin, but that's all we've got.
