edelbrock carb with stock linkage

Hello. I am installing an Edelbrock 1405 onto an Air Gap RPM manifold on my 68 Satellite with a mildly built 360. I bought and installed the Edelbrock 1481 bracket kit but the stock linkage still doesn't match up or look right. Does anyone have photos, illustrations, advice etc of how to correctly hook up the stock linkage? Thanks.

Hi acoustic,i have a Edelbrock on my 318 poly ,automatic trans.if you would like to PM ,me i will send a pic.Im just not sure how to use the photo bucket.
