List of correct emblems and mounting positions for 69 RR?

Apart from the Looney Tunes stickers and a sole pentestar on the right fender, my 69 seems to be void of any exterior emblems.

I'm on the hunt for new ones all around, but I'm a little confused on what is correct and what isn't

I've seen the door emblems both with and without mounting pins.

Not sure which are correct, but the obvious choice for me will be without since my doors have no holes

On the trunk emblem, I've seen both the door style emblem used as well as the rectangle dash style (both are listed as trunk emblems on FleaBay).

Also, were the pentastars ever used on the left fender?

Of all the photos I've seen, I've never seen one on the driver's side fender

Is there a webpage that shows the correct emblems and mounting positions?

No on the lh fender pentastar.

Original nameplates (for '69) would have the pins.

Decklid emblem is the same as the door emblems, the decal is a standing bird with his helmet hanging on his wing.

See the photo I attached of my original Road Runner for the location of the emblems. It'll give you a ballpark but I no longer own it so I can't give any measurements. I'm not sure of a website showing the physical measurements but I imagine there's one somewhere, maybe a Road Runner website or registry.

Aside from the emblems you may want to look at the decal kits as well.

I already have the stickers for the trunk and doors.

Am I missing any others?

The only ones are the decklid, doors and dash.

Question

Another question on the emblems.

Apparently, the originals with the pegs can be found cheaper than the reproductions with the adhesive backing

Now, I haven't seen them up close, but would I be able to grind off the pegs and just add 3M ultra thin nameplate adhesive?

OK, picked up a 1 set of repro emblems for the deck lid as a a little test.

They came with pins and were cheaper than the ones without (odd), so I just wanted to make sure I could remove the pins without damaging the letters before dropping another hundred for the door emblems

Anyways, before I goof this up, anyone have the correct measurements or a hi-res placement photo?

Well, I just couldn't wait and just eyeballed it

The 3M ultra thin emblem tape is easy to remove with a little heat, so I figured I could move it if needed.

Added the door emblems today

They might look a little off compared to other cars I've seen, but the emblems actually line up with the original holes which can barely be seen just under the paint, so I'm guessing the stickers must be off
