Wheel molding question

Does anyone know where to find the chrome wheel well moldings for the 73-74 style plymouth roadrunner? It kind of looks like the 71-72 style body is the same but i'm not sure if they are identical enough to be interchangeable.

C-

Welcome aboard!

They show up on eBay frequently. I believe they are interchangeable fit-wise, but the actual style may differ. That's only an issue if you're going for a factory look or stock class in a show.

Since wheel well molding (and most other moldings on these cars) are water traps, and can lead to rust. Think about foregoing the molding, some folks like the look better too.

Keeping thinking of taking mine off.

Thanks for the tip and for the welcome! I didn't think if the rust issues it might cause, only that i like the way they look on there. I'll definately keep that in mind tho. Especially since my car is finally painted and i'm not too interested in doing more body work. but if you decide to take yours off at any point, get ahold off me cuz i may be interested in purchasing them from you

C -

You wouldn't want mine. They are "presentable" but not in prefect condition. I keep going back and forth about taking them off.

BTW - I've got a Charger, not a RR. Some people say the wheel well molding are interchangeable, but I haven't tried it.

I've used this guy on eBay before for re-pro arts and he seems very good.
