671 Surpercharger

I would like to build a 440 with a 671 supercharger. What would do I need to know before I start. Also, is this streetable.

you will have to build the entire motor around the supercharger
you can not just put it on

how much hp are you looking to gain? 50~75 stock pistions (9.0) can handle that. you can always gear the supercharger to put out low hp or high,, if you wanna go high 100~150 id look into a diff cam main girdle and lower compresion forged pistions..and head work to make it breath

The main thing you should be aware of is depending on what model of 671 you're looking at is anywhere from $2000 to $5000. Then the other thing is what do you want to do with the car ? Track only ? Sunny days only ?

8 or 8 1/2 to 1 pistons and im running my blower 11% under drivin.
