48 Windsor Convertible

OK so I am on a steep learning curve here. I just found a 48 Windsor Convertible project. Complete, power top and bows are straight and solid. Yeah it's rusty, but not too bad really. Trust me I've seen lots worse. I've got lots of experience on Mopars, but all between 55-75. I've got 2 57 DeSotos and 2 Imperials, 58 & 62. So now it's time to go a little further back in time.

I'd be super happy to hear about good sources of info on restoring post-war Mopar convertibles. For example... I don't think I'll need to, but if I decide to go after a donor car... what parts from a 4 dr sedan will interchange? Or do I need a coupe for fenders?

Thanks!
Dave

Sounds like a lot of fabrication and serious time and money looking for parts!

Good luck.
