Hello from the PNW

Hi everyone, my name is Scott, I live in Seattle. I am 47 and do building maintenance. I have been saving for a hot rod for a while now, ever since I saw this beautiful '67 Coronet 4 door for sale on Craigslist last year. Speaking of which, I have a question...

The Coronet I saw had a 383/727 package. I didn't catch whether or not it was the original motor. I have yet to see another one with a 383; almost all of them have a 318. Can anyone tell me what different motor/tranny combos came in the 4 door Coronet in '66 and '67? Thanks in advance!!!

318, 383 and 440. I had a friend whose dad had a 67 four door with a 440. My buddy got and lost his driver's license in one week after turning sixteen.

Thanks Iowan!!! Is there a database where you can find out how many of each were built? Also, were there any manuals built, or all autos?
