Good day
I'm a Chevy guy so bear with me and all the questions I have. I have purchased a nice 1970 Polara Custom 2 door for a father son build project. The car only has 90,000 miles on it and the body is straight and rust free. Only down fall for me is, it's the first Mopar I've ever worked on, so I've come to the experts for advice during the build.
Here is a shot of the car when we brought it home

Welcome from Maine! Good luck on your build! You'll find the mopar world very interesting, frustrating at times and once you get things figured out very rewarding! Good luck and have fun.

It has the original 318 with the 2 barrel on it and for him just starting out, I'm going to keep it that way. But he did get to go cruising with a buddy of his that has a 70 Newport with a 383 and fell in love with the power it has. So I can see and engine swap coming in the next year or so. Other than that we plan on lowering the car a couple inches, painting it all satin black and putting some updated larger diameter wheels and tire on it. I can't believe how solid the car actually is, there isn't any rust or rot on the body or floor pans. We lucked out for it being his first car
