'66 Barracuda thermostat housing

The thermostat housing on the 273 in my 1966 Barracuda was leaking a couple days ago while idling in the garage. I haven't had it leak since then even after having drove it about 5 miles. Any ideas as to why it would leak and then just stop? The car hasn't been overheating.

If you only drove the car five miles, maybe the tstat didn't open and so there’d be no leak. It’s just two bolts to fix it; get er done!

Are you sure it was the Housing? or is the hose just a little loose and seeping?
