Cunningham will slow from his earlier time today.

Left Lane: Larry Morgan Runs 6.697/206.57, Now #14; Best prior run: 6.753/206.32, Was #14

Left Lane: Jim Cunningham Runs 6.742/206.29, Now #16; Best prior run: 6.741/206.42, Was #16

Weather conditions: air temperature 82 degrees, relative humidity 46 percent, barometer 29.65 inches, adjusted altitude 2,519 feet, track temperature 127 degrees.

Cunningham is just a tick off his early qualifying time, so now he will have to wait and watch his teammate to see if he races tomorrow. Jim Cunningham's incremental times: 60ft-1.038 sec., 330ft-2.864, 660ft-4.354/163.51 mph, 1,000ft-5.649.
