Stanfield is 1 - 0 against Brogdon in prior events, their only prior meeting coming at Brainerd in 2008.
Stanfield's car "went wacky" on the launch. fishtailing (no pun intended) several times.

Johnson is 1 - 0 against Humphrey in prior events but they have never faced off in the second round before.
They put on a staging duel, but after about a minute Humphrey went in to break the deadlock. Then both cars shook violently and went silent, the cars out of gear, coasting down the track side-by-side. You could hear somebody revving the engine, trying to get it back in gear, but neither car accelerated and, in a soapbox derby finish, it was AJ by over a car length.
