(W) Rodger Brogdon (Charter GXP) 0.046 6.572 210.77
(L) Ron Krisher (Valvoline Cobalt) 0.048 7.187 149.76

Krisher is 2 - 1 against Brogdon in prior events. They left together and Krisher had the lead until around 330 feet, and then he started to have problems and it was all Brogdon fot the win. Brogdon with a career best E.T. and speed pass for the win.

(W) Larry Morgan (Lucas Oil Stratus) 0.035 6.577 211.26
(L) Johnny Gray (Johnny Gray Racing Stratus) 0.212 6.603 193.02

Gray is 2 - 0 against Morgan in prior events. Before Dallas these two had never raced and now for the third week in a row they meet in the first round. Gray is way late on the tree. Morgan with his quickest pass this season for the win and his career fastest pass.

This is the first time Nobile and Morgan have faced each other in eliminations. Nobile with the starting line advantage and then just past half track the engine goes silent. Morgan takes the win light.

Line is 13 - 9 against Stanfield in prior events. Stanfield with a great light and then has problems and he pushes the clutch in. Line got way out of the groove, but stayed with for the win.

Anderson's run is ties his other 6.528-second pass for the third quickest in the history of Pro Stock and the second fastest pass in the history in Pro Stock.
