Right Lane: Terry Haddock Runs 4.755/186.05, Now #16; Best prior run: 4.496/272.39, Was #16

Right Lane: Jeff Diehl No Time, Now #15; Best prior run: 4.427/238.98, Was #15

Hight gets about 400 feet out, the car loses traction and makes a nasty turn to the right. Hight backs off the throttle, the car whips back around to the left, and he rolls through the lights. Diehl had a nasty ride. He gets about 300 feet out and the car makes a hard move towards the wall. diehl backs off the throttle but it hangs open and the flames from the headers stay high as he hits the wall head on. The body flies off the car, the chutes deploy, and the engine goes up in flames. The car continues down the track finally coming to a stop in the shutdown area. Diehl is able to get out and away from the car and seems to be okay.

Left Lane: Tony Pedregon Runs 4.185/302.69, Now #11; Best prior run: 4.987/185.66, Was #18

We're back after an extended cleanup from Diehl's accident. Several cars have pulled out of the lanes an headed back to the pits.
Pedregon isn't in the show yet and the bump is fairly soft. Troxel is looking to improve on her qualifying position
A couple of really nice passes here. Pedregon drifted a little to the left all the way through the run but was able to stay on the throttle and get in the show, bumping out Haddock. Troxel made a clean run but didn't improve enough to move up in the order.

Left Lane: Tim Wilkerson Runs 4.117/304.53, Now #7; Best prior run: 4.660/238.85, Was #18
Right Lane: Jack Beckman Runs 8.729/73.13, Now #9; Best prior run: 4.124/306.74, Was #8

Wilkerson is the last non-qualifier left to make an attempt. If he gets in he will bump out Diehl.

Wilkerson goes right down the groove, header flames high and steady all the way through the run, and he gets in the show in the seventh spot. Beckman gets about 200 feet out and goes up in smoke
.
Left Lane: Bob Bode Runs 9.361/77.01, Now #8; Best prior run: 4.122/302.08, Was #8

Left Lane: Ashley Force Hood Runs 4.057/309.70, Now #1; Best prior run: 4.032/309.70, Was #1
Right Lane: Matt Hagan Runs 7.352/80.64, Now #5; Best prior run: 4.090/304.53, Was #5

This is it, the last pair of the evening. Force-Hood is already qualified in the top spot but is looking to stay there and pick up bonus points. Hagan would like to improve and take bonus points away from John Force who stands to pick up three if neither of these two can run quicker.

Hagan gets about 200 feet out, strikes the tires, then clicks it off. Force-Hood makes a clean straight pass and runs the second quickest pass of the session to pick up a couple of bonus points.
