hello and roller paint question
hi everyone. new to the forum but have loved and owned mopars for years.
my question is about a 67 A100 van i recently aquired for general hauling and such. I do not plan or want to spend too much money on this as it will mostly be used for utility, but never the less it does need paint. i have heard stories of painting cars with roller that turn out half decent. Half decent seems to be my aim for this project so id figure id give it a shot. anyone have any tips, experience or suggestions with how to start such an endeavor? |

I think that you would get a better job with a paint can myself

If you have a compressed air setup there are some pretty cheap sprayers you might want to consider.

I have seen experenced house painters do this and the car looks good from across the road but that is about it.
my advise is dont bother, I think Challenger`s advise is better.

Well, there is the 50 dollar paintjob, I`ve tried it, and it works!
here`s a link! http://www.rickwrench.com/index79mas...llarpaint.html just remember, it`s cheap, but time consuming! |

I have done a car with a bunch of spray-bombs. It was a Bantam altered fiberglass body. It came out really decent ... even from 5 feet away.
