How much horse power..

If I have a 1971 360/5.9 stock with 260hp. How approximately how much horse power will it have if I throw on a high rise air intake manifold, a 600cfm 4 barrel Holley carb, and flowtech headers with dual exhaust?

dont use a high rise use a dual plane and u can possibly get 25 30 % increase depending on how you can tun it 35
now if you install a cam and say a air gap manifold depending on your combo you could gain 100 hp plus it will sound bad azz not stock azz

How much do you think a decent cam and air gap manifold would cost? Im looking to not spend too much, Im a 16 year old, doing any side job I can to get money for my 65 Coronet 440. Right now Im at about 2400, but I still need to get an engine which is about 1500.

Chris -

You realize you don't have to do it all at once, right?

Get a motor (and if you don't have one, it doesn't have to be a 360, either). The start with the manifold and carb, do the headers/exhaust later, and then work with the cam, etc.

And Goths is right, most high rise manifolds are higher rpm items, and might make the car more sluggish on the street.
