Quarter panel replacement.
Well, I've been practicing my hand at MIG welding and I've gotten pretty good, built a dune buggy cage with my brother, the welds came out pretty good.
But I found a once in a lifetime thing for me, 1973 Plymouth Roadrunner rear quarters.
Includes trunk extensions, full wheelhouse, and all inner braces.
$200 per side, I definitely need the quarter extensions, mine are rotted to all sorts of hell.
Question: What sort of problems could I possibly run into with replacing these, would there be a huge concern because of where the dent is placed?
Also attached is what the MAIN reason is for buying these panels.

to me the main thing would be to brace the quarters/trunk area off before you start cutting away at the existing metal to keep from any flexing in the body. Some people may argue this as being unnecessary, but if you just buy some metal tubing, all you have to do is tack a few welds. its easy, cheap, and could possibly prevent some major headache. sounds like a nice project

The RR 1/4's are full of compound curves, and multiple radii. It would be very hard to get a large dent, in the wrong place, back to original. If it is just the dent, then I would try to cut-in a patch.
