4.7 timing cover leak?

after months of smelling antifreeze when the truck was hot with no fluid loss, finally a few weeks ago found a puddle of antifreeze under the truck from under the water pump. changed the pump and no more puddles or smell but...

over the past few days i've noticed along the bottom of the timing cover where it mates to the block there is a slight seepage of antifreeze. over a few day span it is not enough to drip, but enough to accumulate slightly and jelly over. today, i was able to tighten the timing cover bolts a little and i'm hoping this solves it. how common is a leak from the timing cover?

i finally got under the truck enough to see what is seeping and what isn't. the two areas coincide with the two water passage o-rings. i am going to see if i can get the surrounding bolts a little tighter as i really don't want to take the front of the enigne apart.

I don't blame you for not wanting to take the front apart. That is always a pain and takes longer than you think it would.
