'65 Chrysler 300 Convertible "A" Pillar
I am having a problem to get my vent windows and door glasses to fit tight to "A" pillars and roof rail weatherstrip. Vent windows show a "V" gap with the the "A" pillars (worse on pass side). I have followed all the instructions on the "Master Techinicians Service" for the "Convertible glass and Top Adjustments" but when I push fwd the upper part of the vent window, against the "A" pillar weatherstrip the rear upper corner of the window glass goes almost 1 inch over the convertible frame. I have reached a conclusion that this car's "A" pillar had a bad bodywork performed on them, and left with a wrong inclination angle. Do some member of this forum known what this angle must be?
Thank you for all your help.

Not 100 percent sure I understand where the gap is but:
Take a piece of card board and trace the inside angle for the a pillar from the inside of the vehicle. Have a helper hold it from the outside if needed.
Take that angle and compare it to the vent window. If same, it could be an install problem. If not the same you have confirmed the bad body work.
