Final pieces to the motor puzzle
Just ordered the final pieces to my 440 > 528 stroker motor. MSD pro billet ready to run ignition, TCI street fighter converter with anti-ballooning plate (3000 stall) and 750 Holley Ultra Double Pumper (black).
Alright so to recap this is what I will be running:
Comp Xtreme Energy mechanical solid cam xs282s (.520, .540 lift), 906 heads which were planned, PnP'd with new valves, new guides, springs, seats, 1.6 steel roller rockers and Cloyes 3 bolt double roller timing chain up top, oh and an old school Eddy Torker intake which had to be machined to fit. On the bottom end I'm running the 440 source 528 stroker kit, bored .40 over with a -30 dish forged KB pistons, 7.00 rods, forged crank, aluminum main caps & rear main seal, steel girdle, competition windage tray (crank scraper), 7 qt deep sump, Melling HV pump, TCI "Rattler" balancer and 440 source aluminum serp pulley kit. ALL fastners are ARP studs!
P.S. Running a shot of juice too
Let me know what you guys think fo the set up, estimated hp/tq numbers. Just proud and hella excited to get this thing running down the road! Thanks!

I'm not an expert at head porting, but can a pair of stock heads be made to flow well enough for your combination? I would think that any out-of-the-box aluminum aftermarkets would be a much better choice. You didn't mention compression ratio, you can add at LEAST 1/2 point with aluminum heads. Since you mentioned the Torker intake, what is the intended use/goal of the car?
