Merry Christmas to you and your family too. Have a safe and happy holiday season. May the next year be a happy and healthy one for all. We are having a gift of warmer weather here in Ohio. Last year it was 15 degrees this year its going to be near 60.

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas. Have a happy and safe new year. I officially listed the XJ for sale. So much love and work put into it makes it a little hard to let go but it was built for conquering trails. I am more into conquering walls and just enjoying camping now.

Just a reminder to get your junk off the street that you don’t consider targets. There will be plenty of drunks out there tonight trying to say that your car jumped out in front of them and it’s your fault they hit it. People trying to feel their way home through the bottom of a bottle so be careful and take care of yourself and protect your property….
please don’t drink and drive and be safe out there.
Happy New Year
Tom

Have not gotten rid of the crawler. Haven't tried very hard though either. I did trade in the ZJ though for a new 2024 Rubicon. I actually responded once before but apparently did not hit the submit button. Sure seem to be missing a bunch of the regulars. Hope all is well with them. You enjoying retirement Bob?

No, Not really enjoying retirement.... More like able to stay home and take care of the sick wife, that has a lot of medical issues that need more of my attention...
Looks like Ill be missing the March Meet in Bakersfield California this weekend again !!!!!! I sure do miss my Drag Racing Family..
But I'm trying to stay positive that she will get better... She just Had 3 Back surgerys... Not fun... and man is she having a fit and giving me a hard time about it....

Hope everyone else is doing good???? Roll Call Check in... Type it up !!!!

Thoughts and prayers for both of you. Bob, be sure to not forget to take care of yourself while you take care of your wife. It wont get better if you both are on the mend. The weather has been up and down here in Ohio. Going to the Autorama in Detroit this weekend.

That is rough Bob but at least you are blessed enough to be there. Prayers for you and your wife. I have seen some of the regulars still helping in other threads just been quiet in this one. I read a lot more than I post trying to absorb the knowledge of you guys. The XJ just sold today. Took my final 2 pictures, gave her a hug and she was off to enjoy helping a 19 year old kid get out and conquer some trails. Traded in the ZJ and here finally is a picture of the new Jeep. Had to wait until I got it on a trail and could post a pic of that.

Thanks Bob, I do too. It is a color they have been using for a few years now and is quite common. It was actually my second choice. They ran a teal green color for a short early run in 2024 called Bikini pearl that I really wanted but was too late to get. Took me a month but I managed to get it over 300 miles now! Last weekend was the first time filling the tank. What a difference from the ZJ. Getting double the mileage and don't have to use premium fuel anymore.

New Jeep seems to be averaging about 14.5 mpg so not really good but the ZJ was lucky to get 10 mpg. So hard to stay off the skinny pedal when it is so much fun. I reached a milestone climbing in the last couple weeks. Routes are rated by difficulty starting at V0 and going up. Even though I have only successfully gotten a handful of V6's I managed to complete a V7. Went back a couple days later and got it again. My body is not happy with me but I am! It was not a great climb and I fumbled a bit but I stuck with it.
