Ideas for stiffening steering
I wanna stiffen up my 73 charger's steering. Right now the engine is out and I am puttin in a 360. Everyone knows its like steering the mayflower, and I really wanna tighten it up quite a bit.
Does anyone know any steering systems for cars that would be a good candidate? I am looking for a junkyard part in particular, but I dont know what to look for yet. Ideas would be cool. Im not afraid to fabricate some parts to do this, but I would like to do it cheaper than the $1000+ it will take to convert to rack and pinion |
