Rear Main Seal Cap

I was told that instead of using the cardboard V shape gasket that its better to use Ultra Grey silicone and let it dry for about 24 hours and it works great.Has anybody tried this before....

Buy the Billet main seal kit from Mancini racing. It comes with the billit cap and the seals all in one kit. I just purchased this for my 440 but haven't installed it yet. I want to wait to install it until I get my 7 quart pan and windage tray and do it all at the same time. Need $$$$$$ to do it all.

I bought the billet cap from Hughes engine and installed it with the right stuff gasket maker. Still haven't fired it off yet but time will tell.
