Undercoating
I've removed more then 70% of the undercoating from under the hood of my car, I've been using rags, toothbrushes and paint thinner. I've tried other products like goo gone but nothing really seems to work effectively. I realize this will be a slow and painful job i was just wondering if anyone had any tips advice or products that worked well?

I've stripped mine in the past as well. But rather than do it myself I was fortunate enough to have a media blaster local and had mine done for about $150 bucks. Check your yellow pages and see if you have someone that does this in your area. Another good source is some of the restoration shops, they may be able to give you a referral. Good luck.

media blasting is like sand blasting only it uses plastic media instead of sand. Easier on the metal cause it doesnt heat it up as much.
...but...
Have you tried using a hand held heat gun. {think heavy duty hair drier}Sometimes they will loosen up the undercoat enough that u can scrape it off with something that wont harm the paint.
