wiper woes

Hello again guys.. just a simple question about my wipers. in my 72 charger cowl i a have a flat metal arm connected to the wipers that goes over another arm that rotates(the wiper motor.) I am missing the clip (or pin?) that holds the wiper arm on the rotating motor. It looks like its some type of E-clip of something. i also have some plastic washer things that look like they would hold the flat wiper arm flat against the wiper motor arm... its hard to explain but im sure someone on the forum knows what im talking about. Anyways i am not sure exactly what the clip i need is and i dont know where to find it... i had to drive in the rain today... not fun, lol. Anyways summer is coming in florida and it rains every afternoon so ill sure need it. Thanks for any help guys

Had the same problem when we got my Charger back on the street. The nylon bushings were shot, but we had the "e -rings" as you called them.

IIRC my mechanic got replacements parts from Year One or Moparcity, I forget which. They both have web sites, but you may have to call.

One other suggestion. Unless you have a very good shop manual, take a picture of the setup or mark everything up BEFORE you take it apart. There was about a 4 moth gap between taking mine apart and getting it back together - had to do a little guessing, I mean test fitting ... Yes, it's working now.

I never took it apart.... they never worked and upon investigation the parts where just laying in the cowl but i tried matching them up and it seams to make sense... i just need that clip on the end to hold the thing together... i think lol
