Ok so the year is 2008 its mid summer and Im at work doing my usual talking to my customers at the restaraunt I manage, as always I have my regualr customers that I tended to talk to alittle more then other customers and for the security off this customer im going to call her Betty, so anyways I had talked to Betty on more then one occasion yet I had never talked to Betty about my MOPAR hobby, at this time I still had my 1973 Dart sport, that was going noooooo where so I really didnt Brag about it to anyone plus with Betty being in her 50's and having no husband I didnt think that cars would be her forte so It never came up. But on this day we began talking and she was giving me the low down on her fav hobby Bennie babbys After I listend about her hobby I said ya, im into classic cars I love dodges.
Her eyes got really BIG and she said mannnnnn if you like dodges I have my husbands car still that he had when he died, its still sitting in the garage its in really good shape. I said OH ya? im thinking its a aspen or monaco or some other less disirable car. She says ya its a ummmm 1971 DODGE CHARGER
my heart is now beating im sweating im EXCITED she says its just sitting I need to get rid of it. But she dosent know what she wants for it. So we set up a day the following week to come out and look at it Im figuring its going to be dented and rusted we show up and this CAR is MINT a blueish teal 383 SE all ORIGINAL 30XXXX mile white bucket seat with auto center consle with add on chrysler casset deck mic that attatchs to the center counsle. Well needles to say I never got the car I knew she wanted 10 thousand plus so it was left.
Well now the year is 2010 I had seen Betty plenty more times and knew the car was still there. This weekend my uncle told me he would kill me if I let the car slip away so I picked up the phone and called Betty, yup the car was still there and we threw the number six thousdand around so monday It looks like I will be trying to get a six thousand dollar loan to buy the car, so this means if I get this car the dart will have to be sold WISH ME LUCK GUYS THANKS FOR READING

double edged sword for us guys - if we tell our wives what we actually paid for stuff they would kill us - if we don't they will get rid of it uber cheap when we kick off...

I feel your pain I am selling my 40 Olds that is a runner to finance a barracuda drop top that needs tons of work, but I only have so much room so some thing has to go

maby it is and 8track I cant remember it was 2008 as soon as I can get over there and get pics I will It looks good for the loan we will see tonight or in the morning

Good Luck on this deal... I agree that's too bad you have to get rid of the Dart... But, do what you have to do...... Charger sounds way to good to let go!!!!

had to get a co signer for a 6 grand loan what a bunch of crap the car was said to be mine the lady is going to sell it to me just need the money

Update I have been denied twice now for the loan but now im pulling out the big guns, my aunt with better credit then god, if all goes well I should have a nice new B body in my collection in a week or so "B sombody with a B body" guess that will be my new slogan
