My Guess Low 10's or high 9's.... If it hooks and hold together....
One suggestion.... If it has a front sway bar, I would pull it for race day, Let the front end travel as far up as it can go....
??? What did Tom Best say ??????
Keep us posted....

Why do you think it needs something as high as a 60 weight?
I think a 10W30 or a 15W40 (My preferred is 30W or 40W) Should be just fine.
Unless that engine is really beating up the oil to wear its to thin when it comes out of the engine. I would use a little lighter weight oil. Less drag on the oil pump and also better oil return to the pan. Thick oil is hard to push, and takes longer to return to the bottom of the pan.
Just my 2 cents...

The 15-40w would also be my choice.
Before spending too much track time with this hotrod, I would check for aluminum connecting rods. I believe a bunch of boost requires the shock absorbing characteristics of aluminum rods to survive on the track. Aluminum connecting rods are supposed to be loosened for winter storage and retorqued come race season. Also cut open the oil filter to check for trace material.

Yes... Icing is a large problem with Blower motored cars...That why they spray them to keep them from sticking wide open or closed...
Raffa... Call August Cederstrand @ Cederstrand Racing Engines.....
August use to work at (Speedomotive), But when George closed shop. August opened his own shop. I am sure that he built that motor for that car back in the day.I sure he will remember and still might have his notes..Very nice guy to talk to..I dont get to see him much anymore... lol
