Lug bolts

I'm doing a COMPLETE brake job on a '48 Dodge Deluxe. Getting close to done but notice when I removed lug nuts from left side (left hand threads) the threads are kinda beat up from over the years and would like to replace them on the left side only. The lug bolts don't have to be left hand thread. The ones I've seen in Roberts look like they have a head on them. Mine are flat topped. Not sure if the ones with heads will clear the bolt heads that hold backing plate on. Any ideas or help? Thanks, Slapz.
