6 pack questions
I put a new Edelbrock 6 pack on my 70 Superbee with a 440 and AT. I used Demon carbs because I like them. Didn't know that was going to be a problem for me. Or is it???
I can't find a accelerator cable kit with bracket guaranteed to fit either the manifold or accelerator pedal. Neither Summit, Bouchillon, or Mopar Performance has that kit or a kickdown bracket guaranteed to fit.
There has got to be people here who have done this. I was wondering if instead of reinventing the wheel and get some help. Part numbers or any other advice would be greatly appreciated. I'm on day four of this adventure.

You are not going to find a "bolt on" set up for the application you are putting together. Hot rodding always means having to improvise. Everyone that has done this, has done the same thing, make it yourself. Good luck! You can do it!

Oops, I forgot, you are going to have a problem with the kickdown cable as well. This is important. DO NOT drive without the kickdown in place and working correctly. Lokar (the shifter people) have a cable for this. Yes it is expensive.

Well, I have found a bolt on kit. Lokar makes a accelerator cable/kickdown bracket kit for the Barry Grant sixshooter setup. Part number is TCB-40BG for the bracket kit. They also have a kickdown cable for the 727 tranny as well as a universal accelerator cable which is essentially bolt on. And it is expensive at $140 for the bracket kit, $89 for the KD, and $59 for the accelerator cable. It's cheaper thru Summit or another distributor for Lokar at $222 for the bunch for me.
Next an air assembly for the Demons. BTW, you either have to get a base plate from Barry Grant or minimally modify a stock base to get it to fit the Demons due to a fuel inlet.

Great, I knew Lokar had the kickdown, I didn't know they had the throttle. As a Universal kit there will be some modding. As I said they are expensive, I think once you see the kit you will find you could have made something else yourself for much less money. Good luck.

Here's the real kicker. I haven't been able to find anyone with an air cleaner assembly. Allegedly there is a whizzing contest between some vendors for Mopar who haven't been paid for past expenses and parts. The rumor is they won't supply some parts like this to Summit and even places like Six Pack Performance.
Anyone have a repro air assembly sitting around they want to part with or know someone with one in stock? Looks like the back orders go back to at least early June.
Anyone got any real facts instead of rumor?
