'71 318 Engine vs. '85 318 Engine
I found a long block on eBay that says it will fit an '85-'87 truck. What is the differences between this engine and the one I currently have? ('71 318) Will it bolt up to my tranny and intake?
Thanks! Eric |

assuming you are thinking of purchasing it still and havent made a decision, It SHOULD bolt up. BUT... I think I read somewhere about some of the later 318 engines being externally balanced instead of the olders which were internally. that may be something to look into.
