my notes and your notes dont match mine says 66 was the first year for the Dana 60 behind the hemi 4 speed. and the hemi was made in 64 but hit the streets in 66.. but the cryslers engineers and writers were probably doped up on some high octane acid and pcp. it was the 60,s

If you want to get technical then the OS Hemi cam out in 1951 to 1958
three different versions of the OSH that were dodge chrysler and desoto
chrysler was 301-331-354-392
desoto was 276-291-330-341-345
dodge were 241-260-270-315-325
some were standard blocks and some were raised blocks
the 426 came out in 1964 as a (race engine only) and in 1966 the detuned version cam out for us car people
i would check your notes again or if you would like to learn more about the dana and 8 3/4 axles you can buy a book called Mopar Chassis-8th Edition # (P5249441) it covers chassis items including transmissions, axles and front and rear susp:

The dana came out in 1965 also the first year of the 426 hemi It was available for automatics in 1968. tha 426 wedge 4sp had a dana60.My brother bought a street hemi in 1966 sorry race hemi .The 65s and 66 hemis were street and race the street hemis came tith 8 3/4 and the race hemis came with dana60s.
