part numbers

Does anyone where work at a parts store that sells Precision universal joints? The number is 280. I have no idea what they fit but would like to know. I also have a factory chrysler u-joint, number 1-04720822 that I'm not sure about what it goes to either.

Tim, the Precision 280 has 6599 applications; 294 AMC apps, 3 Chrysler, 141 Dodge, 530 Jeep, 20 Plymouth, and a whole bunch of other makes.

Are you looking to see if it fits anything specific?

I'm thinking that the Precision u-joint were for my j10 when I had the QT case and f/r D44 axles in it. Can you let me know if they will fit a jeep cherokee (late 80s) or a C#&$y silverado (2000)?
